T+O+M Executive are working exclusively with a large ASX 100 FMCG company to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant position to join the Group Finance function. This household FMCG brand with over 20 years of being the industry market leader, prides themselves with their high calibre, ex-big 4 finance team and looking for a statutory reporting experienced Senior Financial Accountant.
Role responsibilities:
- Consolidation of monthly group P&L and Balance Sheet actual results and provide commentary for the board reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial reports and ASX reporting.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation.
- Maintaining reconciliations for Group share capital, treasury shares and other equity.
- Maintaining the group fixed assets, investment property, leases and intangibles registers.
- Completing foreign exchange analysis, cash and interest reporting for the Group.
- Provide accounting support to the Financial and Commercial Accounting teams.
- Support the half-year and full-year audit process.
- Assist with board report preparation.
- Business partnering with other finance teams (FP&A, tax, corporate, treasury).
- Help to drive process and system improvements to enhance the financial reporting.
About you:
- CA/CPA qualified with hands on ASX group accounting experience through an ASX listed company.
- Experience with Oracle ERP is advantageous but not a must.
- A go-getter with excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
