Accounting Graduate / Junior

Skills & experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Has begun studying for their CA or CPA, or is willing to begin, where you'll be fully supported 
• Ideally you're a newly graduated accountant that is eager to learn & grow with an organisation that will support you entirely.  
• You must have good communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal, as you will constantly liaising with stakeholders on behalf of the organisation 
• Whilst you will always be supported and have access to senior guidance, the role will suit someone who has no issues working autonomously 
• You're a problem-solver, a stickler for accuracy, and attention to detail
• Process orientated, with a strong desire to learn & provide insight
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• A positive and professional team player
• Is always accountable and able to achieve deadlines
• Must have a permanent Australian working visa / citizenship

Key facets of the role

• Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will learn, understand & play a key supporting role in the day-to-day management of all our fundamental Accounting/Financial functions, including payroll (fortnightly) and accounts payable.
• Being able to professionally respond to emails & telephone queries, from suppliers & staff.

• You can demonstrate your excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You're super-organised, you're accountable & importantly, a great listener. 
• You're reliable & understand the importance of meeting deadlines
• You're bright, friendly & is someone who truly loves to learn & wants to develop their career within a growing organisation
• You can provide us with Police / criminal background checks
