THE ROLE
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Head Office Admin team based in Macquarie Park, NSW. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting activities.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Oversee and perform all aspects of accounting, including compilation of statutory annual accounts and reporting to head office.
- Ensure accurate and timely data preparation for taxation and statutory reporting for BAS and FBT.
- Cashflow management and reporting.
- Assist setting and monitoring budgets.
- Monitoring internal control systems.
- Payroll management.
- Keep abreast of new accounting standards and applying any relevant changes to the business.
- Manage internal and external audits.
- Completion and coordination of monthly, quarterly and full year reporting to head office.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be working in a key role with a small but supportive team whose primary focus is customer satisfaction.
Key Skills
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and international financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite; experience with Attaché a plus.
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a small team.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Previous Audit experience is desirable.
