Ultimate Security Australia is a fast-growing security company providing end to end security service solutions to large customer base (both residential and commercial) nationwide. Our services include Back to Base Alarm Monitoring (Grade A1), one-stop-shop E-Security provider (design up to installation), Mobile Patrols and Static Guards.
About the Role:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting operations. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of financial reporting, compliance with statutory/tax obligations, internal controls and support in forecasting, annual budgets process as required. The role requires a detail oriented, problem solver that is both hands on and can support/delegate tasks within the team effectively. As the Accounting Manager, you will thrive on continuous system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly reviews of bank reconciliations and prepare fort-nightly cash flow forecasts.
- Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting management, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MYOB and advanced Excel skills.
