The Willemsen Group is an Australian private family office with substantial investments in direct commercial property and a wide range of financial assets. Our Canberra head office is comprised of a small team of dedicated long serving employees who provide a range of facilities management, financial management and property development services for the Group.
We are seeking a professional and discrete individual who is diligent and wants to become a member of our team in the Canberra office.
Duties will vary, including:
- accounts payable, data entry and payment of invoices,
- accounts receivable, invoicing & debtor management,
- bank reconciliations,
- electronic and paper document management,
- commercial office lease administration,
- maintenance of safety registers; and
- various administrative functions which support the daily operation of the organisation.
To be considered for this position we are looking for a person with the following attributes:
- a desire to work in a small private family company environment,
- advanced capabilities in the operation of Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams. A capability to use document formatting techniques in Word, and the use of formulas in Excel is essential,
- ability to process data with accuracy & high level of attention to detail,
- sound knowledge & understanding of basic accounting principles,
- efficient multi-tasker with strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines,
- proactive and seeks to take on new responsibilities and extend the scope of their work when tasks are completed,
- you must be eligible to live & work in Australia without restrictions,
- fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- own vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
Remuneration:
Remuneration is reviewed annually with the opportunity for future growth depending on performance.
