We are seeking a diligent and motivated person to provide construction administration support to a high functioning team. In this role, you will be a strong communicator, enabling you to relay administrative requirements and process to stakeholders in a professional and cohesive manner.
This is a Permanent position with flexible working opportunities. The general hours of business are normally between 8am and 6pm, flexible hours and workdays can be negotiated.
About the position.
We are looking for an experienced Construction Administrator to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of office procedures. You will be a strong and reliable support to the company operations while maintaining and creating procedures, providing outstanding assistance, and ensuring that the Team is well supported.
Duties.
- Take-offs and estimating for projects
- Placing orders/scheduling orders
- Filing
- Set up appointments, meetings, and manage calendars
- Basic accounts payable and receivable
- Answer queries and phone calls
- Experience in an administrative role, with construction experience
- Ability to build strong work relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven and reliable attitude
The successful candidate must have:
- Construction experience;
- Accounts payable and receivable understanding;
- MYOB experience;
- Experience providing administration support.
- Outstanding attention to detail to ensure accuracy of our data/systems.
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle interruptions and changes.
- Ability to main confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
