AMS currently has an opportunity for a Part time Accounts & Administration Coordinator. Working hours are flexible- 25 hours a week, school hours is a preference.

The opportunity
- Engaging with customers and processing sales orders and invoicing
- Managing trade receivables
- Accounts reconciliations and trial balance production using MYOB accounting software
- Assisting with procurement and liaising with suppliers working closely with Accountant
- Entering stock transactions, preparing stock reports and stocktake reconciliation
- Processing accounts payable
- Producing reports for management, as requested
- Fixed asset register management
- Preparing and lodging BAS
- Answering phone calls & monitoring emails
- General administrative & office support duties
Your purpose
Coordinate office administration and the effective management of accounts payable, receivable, bookkeeping and management support. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers and have a proactive approach to your work.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Demonstrated proficiency using MYOB accounting software and functionality specifically the auto build functionality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office e.g., Excel, Word
- Proficient in using a perpetual inventory software system
- High level of attention to detail and ability to implement instructions with accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work, at times, under tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn new tasks which may evolve with this position
- Effective communication skills including, written, verbal and ability to listen
- Customer focused and committed to delivering exceptional service
- Corporate presentation and display workplace professionalism
- A good work ethic and maintaining confidentiality
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Check
- The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated.
