Accounts Administration Trainee

The Position

As an Accounts Administration Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company. You will gain responsibility for a range of administrative tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance as you progress through your qualification. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the company while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently

- Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and compliance with relevant regulations

- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the general ledger system

- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes

- Prepare and distribute financial reports and analyses as required

- Provide administrative support to the management team, including filing, data entry, and correspondence

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients

Requirements:

- Ready to commence a Certificate III in Accounts Administration

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a supportive environment

- Interest of accounting principles and practices
