Open Projects Group is a commercial shopfitting company with core business centering around the hospitality industry.
Our Gold Coast Head Office is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our team. This role will ideally suit someone who is passionate about providing accounts and admin support. This position is available for immediate start. Reporting directly to our financial controller you will be an integral part of a busy team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned by Financial controller
- Payroll processing for 70+ staff
- Assist Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist with other ad hoc accounting tasks
- Accounts Payable functions
- Accounts Receivable Functions
- Filing and scanning of documents
- Preparation and updating of excel based reports
- Other administration duties as required
- Handling general enquiries over the phone and via email.
Requirements
- Friendly and professional
- Reliable team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office 365.
- Experience using Quickbooks online or similar platform with previous AP entry experience
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Quick learner and ability to keep up with fast-paced environment.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Previous experience in high volume accounts functions
Prior experience in construction accounts is favorable.
