Accounts and Administration Allrounder

We’re on the lookout for the best of the best - we need a brilliant & bubbly Accounts and Administration allrounder

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and have the results to show!

About You 

You will be an experienced, proactive and strategic thinker, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and experience with the accounting software Xero. 

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in accounts, administration and an office all-rounder role. This is a diverse role and you will need to have the ability to work unsupervised, multitask, meet deadlines and prioritise workload. 

We are passionate about what we do, so you’ll need to be able to work in this fun and dynamic industry while remaining task orientated.

It’s important that you can work both independently and as part of a team to manage a wide range of projects. Although our team is always on hand to help and collaborate, we will be looking for a self-starter with great initiative and thrives on multitasking. 

You should have:   

  • A proactive and committed work ethic
  • Attention to detail & be very organised
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Ability to work unsupervised, multitask, meet deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Experience with Xero Accounting software 
  • Experience in the software Zoho is not essential but a bonus! 
  • A positive problem-solving attitude 
  • Be driven and willing to try new strategies


The Role
  
This role is a varied role that requires someone who thrives on multitasking. You will be supporting the business and operations across, accounting, debt collection, invoicing & general administration duties.
  
This role is a temporary part-time role, with the possibility of becoming a permanent full-time position.
  
More specifically, you will be able to: 

  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
  • Manage overdue aged debt Accounts and make all efforts to collect outstanding debt
  • Assist with payroll/leave processing and other bookkeeping activities as required
  • Complete day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, document filing, office supplies & equipment
  • Answer phone and email enquiries from new and existing clients, contractors, and others in a professional and prompt way
  • Be able to produce financial reports such as P&L and balance sheet reports and communicate these with directors and stakeholders
  • Be able to negotiate end-of-contact details with clients
  • Budget and maintain accounts payable
  • Manage monthly BAS IAS and Super payments and reports (optional, but a bonus!)
