Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for Mission local staff, including calculating wages, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with ATO.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Process invoices and reimbursement requests at a timely manner.
- Provide assistance during external audits and respond to audit inquiries as necessary.
- Help maintain financial documentation and filing systems in compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
- Provide administrative support including maintaining store and office supplies.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in accounting and payroll processing.
- Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process financial data.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Two references.
