About the role
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Accounts Investigations Co-ordinator working within the Finance Operations team for an 18-month Full-time contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with key internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Distribution Centres, Merchandise, Procurement & Operations Teams, Off-Shore Team, Third party Service Providers and Suppliers.
Your role will include:
- Timely and efficient investigation and resolution of supplier and business queries
- Highlight major or consistent problems recommending actions
- Review supplier queries in accordance with Coles' policy
- Provide offshore assistance
- Support resolution of internal / external escalated queries
- Support change management and project related activity
You are highly motivated and self-driven. Focused on driving through results to a conclusion and engaging with the business to ensure delivery. Passionate about solving the business' performance-related issues.
You will have the following skills & experience:
- 3+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable or Investigation role
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to self-manage and multi-task
- Retail merchandise and operations knowledge preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong accounts payable knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, stakeholder management, change management, problem solving and influencing skills
- Experience planning & managing small projects with minimal supervision
- Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g., Microsoft Office applications (inc. Excel, PowerPoint) & SAP #LI-FIN
