Who we are
Australian Employment Services (AES) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Group Training Organisation (GTO) operating in Tasmania. At AES we provide a range of training services to industry and individuals primarily in the civil construction and the building and construction industries as well as provide labour hire services.
The role
AES has a vacancy for a permanent part-time Accounts Officer, to undertake the following duties:
- Processing supplier/debtor invoices
- Processing customer invoices
- Accounts payable/receivable reconciliations
- Weekly payroll processing
- Preparation and lodgement of monthly PAYG
- Preparation and lodgement of quarterly BAS
- Preparation and lodgement of quarterly Superannuation
- Bank reconciliations
To be successful in this position you need the following attributes and experience:
- Experience with MYOB (essential)
- Accounts payable / receivable experience
- Strong computer skills, including outlook/word/excel
- Experience preparing and lodging BAS and PAYG
- Payroll experience (including superannuation reporting)
- Ability to organise and prioritise with a friendly and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
The role is permanent part-time, initially for 15 hours per week.
