Who we are

Australian Employment Services (AES) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Group Training Organisation (GTO) operating in Tasmania. At AES we provide a range of training services to industry and individuals primarily in the civil construction and the building and construction industries as well as provide labour hire services. 

The role

AES has a vacancy for a permanent part-time Accounts Officer, to undertake the following duties:

• Processing supplier/debtor invoices
• Processing customer invoices
• Accounts payable/receivable reconciliations
• Weekly payroll processing 
• Preparation and lodgement of monthly PAYG
• Preparation and lodgement of quarterly BAS
• Preparation and lodgement of quarterly Superannuation
• Bank reconciliations

 To be successful in this position you need the following attributes and experience:

• Experience with MYOB (essential)
• Accounts payable / receivable experience
• Strong computer skills, including outlook/word/excel 
• Experience preparing and lodging BAS and PAYG
• Payroll experience (including superannuation reporting)
• Ability to organise and prioritise with a friendly and positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail

The role is permanent part-time, initially for 15 hours per week.
