Shepparton Access is a not-for-profit, innovative Learning and Lifestyle Hub, that has been supporting adults with disability in the Shepparton region for over 29 years. Our group funded education and training programs support participants to be engaged in the community, build independence, and pursue employment to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Shepparton Access is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our amazing team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role is responsible for accounts payable and receivable duties and providing administrative support to the organisation.
The working hours for this position are Full Time, Monday- Friday.
Duties and responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
- Providing reception and administrative support across the organisation.
- Assisting with finance and administrative duties including purchasing, invoicing and staff payroll.
- Creditor and debtor management including processing supplier invoices and payments and customer invoicing and receipts.
- Assisting with NDIS claim management and maintaining the organisation’s IT systems and documentation.
- Assisting with legislative, NDIS and taxation compliance requirements.
- Assisting with development and implementation of organisational procedures and protocols.
- Ensuring documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Project support across the organisation, as required.
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Providing support as required to team members, the Senior Management Team (SMT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Supporting management of Shepparton Access’s social enterprises, including EcoStore, EcoCafé and EcoPark.
- Providing exceptional customer service to assist with developing, maintaining and enhancing Shepparton Access’s reputation in the community.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in a Finance or Administration Officer role with knowledge of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
