Client Details
We are seeking candidates for a full-time Accounts Receivable Officer on behalf of our client, a global Japanese company and a leading wholesale distributor of renowned electronic products, located in the eastern suburb of Melbourne.
You will be responsible for end-to-end Accounts Receivable functions and Credit Control.
On-site parking and hybrid working options are available.
Description
The key responsibilities and duties of the role:
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable functions
- Complete high-volume invoicing and transactions
- Timely cash collections and accurate record-keeping within the agreed time-frame.
- Processing claims and credit notes
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate payments, reconcile variances or conflicts and resolve customer queries
- Prepare and distribute customer statements
Profile
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
- Experience in an FMCG/Wholesale distribution organisation is ideal but not essential
- Ability to organize and prioritise high-volume tasks.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in managing financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full work rights in Australia and able to work full-time
