Accounts Officer

Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with an Australian owned business that specialise in providing sustainable commercial cleaning, maintenance and security services to client's assets. We are on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Accounts Officer who is looking for their next challenge and to enhance their career! 

As an Accounts Officer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting tasks while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment. The responsibilities of the Accounts Officer include the provision of data entry, supplier payment, client invoicing, and placing consumable orders.

We are looking for a candidate that is a team player, and eager to learn. The ability to work both collaboratively and independently is crucial in this position.

What do you do? 

• Collect monthly order requests. 
• Process orders through Templa. 
• Track orders & ensure smooth delivery. 
• Receive purchase orders based on approved goods.
• Manage store orders (purchasing) 
• Reconcile/enter supplier invoices. 
• Invoice clients daily/monthly for jobs & supplies. 
• Make monthly payments to suppliers. 
• Generate monthly reports and perform other duties. 
• Assist with month-end preparation. 

What do you need? 

• Two or more years experience in a similar role. 
• Background in accounting/finance. 
• Ability to work with numbers. 
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisation & time management skills. 
• Problem-solving skills. 
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
