The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Officer supports the finance function by providing expertise in the transactional aspects of accounting processes of payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general administration. As part of a small team in a growing business, the Accounts Officer will have the opportunity contribute to our continuous improvement journey.
The Person
The successful incumbent will be highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail they will also have the following experience and abilities.
- Proven experience (5 years) in a payroll and accounts/administration role.
- Experience processing timesheets and payroll forms for the monthly payroll; reconciliation of payroll deductions and preparation of payments to third parties.
- Experience verifying, preparing and paying invoices (or similar); balancing and reconciling accounts & credit cards, and routine accounts and administration work.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and agility with various finance/ERP packages.
- Previous and recent experience in Pronto will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
