The Commercial and Client Support Officer is a role within Finance and is accountable to the Team Leader, Commercial and Client Support Services for:
- Supporting the provision of accounting and financial services to ensure Client Trust, Client Financial Management and the Department of Human Services (DHS) meet their financial obligations to clients; and
- Contributing to the effective maintenance of workplace relations within Finance and Finance Business Partnerships.
National Police Check required.
Role Status: Term up to 02/06/2026.

Our Finance and Business Services Division oversees the department's budget and financial compliance responsibilities, its infrastructure and assets portfolio, as well as procurement and quality assurance functions. They provide support and strategic advice across the department regarding a range of DHS goals, systems and processes.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the South Australia Police or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS, including periodic assessment during your employment.
