Accounts Officer

We are seeking ambitious Accounts Officer  to join Civium  due to rapid growth and expansion in our Canberra office . 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Snapshot of the role: 

• Preparation of financial statements (Cash and Accrual basis)
• Daily banking and bank reconciliations
• Monthly budget preparation 
• Cash flow forecasting and management 
• Present financial reports at budget meetings
• Oversee internal revenue/billings and reporting/forecasting
• Attend to Strata Managers, Executive Committee Member and Owner's queries/requests
• Work with our Strata Managers  to ensure accurate data flow

About You 

• Prior experience and understanding  in  general accounting or bookkeeping is a must 
• A keen eye for detail and a very high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial matters to non-financial people.
• The ability to work autonomously and within a small, close-knit team.
• The drive to develop your professional skills and knowledge in  accounting and taxation
