MARS is collaborating with a Financial Services firm located in North Sydney. They're currently seeking an Accounts Officer to join the team on a permanent basis. Reconcile and maintain the data for the Group of Companies within its current accounting system, presently MYOB.
Collaborate with the Finance Manager in preparing monthly Management Accounts, with a specific focus on profit and loss and balance sheets. This includes the management of amortization and depreciation records.
Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet and intergroup accounts, providing detailed commentary on significant variances.
Assist in the preparation and submission of data to external stakeholders, including APRA/ABS, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and actively participate in related audit activities as necessary.
Play a key role in Trust reporting, ensuring timely payments to investors and other third parties.
Provide support to the Finance/Treasury team by undertaking various tasks as required.
The Requirements:
Preferably, 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar position within the lending Industry will be highly valued.
Possess knowledge and experience in account reconciliations, financial control, and reporting.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

This role is based in the office full time in their North Sydney office.

SALARY
AU$55000 - AU$70000 per annum + + Super and Incentives
