About the roleBased in our Sydney city office with lovely views, a great fun team and hybrid working capacity you will be an integral part of our team. You’ll be covering a parental leave contract for 6 – 8 months in a standalone role, with plenty of support and thorough handover.It’s a varied and interesting role, supporting our Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai offices.Your main activities will be:
- Operating a fortnightly payroll for temporary contractors
- Operating a monthly payroll for our permanent employees from start to finish
- Cashbook (accounts receivable & payable for 5 offices), bank recs for 5 offices
- Enter supplier invoices into accountancy software (GP) for 5 offices
- Getting approval for all Sydney and Melbourne Supplier invoices and setting up a pay run
- Raising permanent invoices and issuing to clients
- Looking after corporate credit cards, repayments and reconcile employee statements
- Completing supplier vendor forms & PO requests
- Labour hire reporting for QLD & VIC quarterly
- Maintain debt collection for Sydney & Melbourne offices
About you- Strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of payroll legislation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
- Knowledge of Astute Payroll software
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy of data input
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise work
- Minimum 2 years experience processing payrolls
