AddressThe Hidden Valley Resort, part of the Arcadia Group are seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in a permanent part-time basis, to be worked three to four days per week over Monday to Friday.
The Hidden Valley Resort boasts a level of facilities never seen before in Melbourne's north, just 45 minutes from the CBD and 25 minutes to the airport. Set in 450+ acres of Tuscan surrounds, the Hidden Valley Resort is the destination for wedding parties, corporate events, functions, conventions, as well as providing luxury townhouse accommodation and sporting facilities such as our championship golf course, gym, indoor pool, tennis and pickleball courts and a bowling green. The resort is also home to The Grove Bar & Bistro.
About the role:
Reporting to the Resort's General Manager, the main responsibilities of this position include:
- Preparation of weekly banking.
- Regular reconciliation between operating systems (Powergolf, RMS, EFT Terminals etc.) and bank accounts.
- Annual Membership invoicing.
- Monthly La Dimora Retirement Village resident invoicing.
- Monthly Debtor invoicing.
- Processing quarterly membership payments.
- Accounts payable duties including data entry.
- Monthly credit card reconciliations.
- Regular reporting on Membership and Sundry debtors.
- Maintaining WHS compliance registers and assisting with WHS inspections and audits.
- Ad-hoc reception duties when required.
About you:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 2 years’ relevant Accounts Officer experience
- Cert IV in Accounting or similar
- Ability to deliver high quality work, be flexible and adaptable and operate as part of a team
- Confidence in dealing with others
- A proactive approach and ability to work independently when required
- Demonstrably strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to Quickbooks/Reckon software desirable.
- A valid Police Clearance is required for this role
