C Fulton Pty Ltd, Melbourne's largest Garden and Building supply business, is seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Manager to join our small yet mighty team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately process all creditor invoices
- Load up payments to our Bank platform
- Process other accounting data and input into the General Ledger
- Maintain relationships with vendors and dealing with inquiries
- Cash flow reconciliation and forecasting
- Audit, reconciliation and upload of Corporate Credit card expenses
- Complete General Ledger and vendor statement reconciliations
- Provide expertise for all queries relating to invoice exceptions, payments and allocations
- Complete Credit Applications and set-up of new Supplier accounts
- Expense reimbursement claim processing
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox
- Answer subcontractor & supplier queries via phone & email
- Management of Purchase Orders prepared by site
- Investigate queries on invoices/claims and resolve promptly
- Communicate effectively with various areas of the business
Payroll
- Manage the weekly pay run process from set-up to finalisation
- Collaborate with site Managers to ensure employee data is accurate and resolve any discrepancies
- Respond to employee queries relating to payroll
- Support Workcover claims management and reconcile VWA reimbursements
- Accurately calculate and process leave entitlements
- Management of Accounts receivable operations
- Analyse transaction information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts and insufficient payments
- Daily monitoring and reconciliation of customer deposits

- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency with computers and experience with NetSuite (preferred)
- Tertiary/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline or several years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office productivity tools and databases (e.g., Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
