Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your role will include:
Oversee end-to-end AP process
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives as agreed with the Shared Services Manager, including preparation of manuals, policies & procedures
Provide expert advice on matters related to the operation of the accounts payable and purchase order systems
Provide regular supervision to the Accounts Payable Officers and ensure participation in Performance Development Review and Planning processes
Processing of all creditor accounts, including invoice matching to purchase order, invoice processing, creditor's payment, etc.
Manage the weekly cheques & EFT payments to suppliers & clients
Liaise with all suppliers and internal stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner
Process month end accrued expenses
Timely identification and rectification of problems in the accounts payable and purchase order systems
Undertake monthly reconciliation of supplier statements to invoices

The successful candidate will show a willingness to be hands on, as well as the ability to oversee the function of the AP department.
