Selection Criteria
- Qualifications: Possession of a Cert IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification is preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
- Accounts Payable: Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable is essential.
- NDIS Experience: Strongly preferred, experience working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a major plus.
- Customer Service: A commitment to building authentic and positive client relationships through excellent customer service is a must.
- Empathy and Efficiency: Ability to balance empathy and efficiency in all client interactions.
- Attention to Detail: Fantastic attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all bookkeeping and Accounts Payable tasks.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities.
- Disability Support: Commitment to supporting and understanding the needs of those living with a disability.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in general computer skills such as accurate data entry, typing, and managing multiple applications.
What the Role Entails
As an NDIS Accounts Payable Officer (Plan Administrator), your primary role will be to manage funding for participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This will include working within NDIS pricing guidelines, supporting clients via telephone, and managing relationships with service providers.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the financial aspects of participants' plans, including budgets, invoices, and payments.
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS pricing guidelines and regulations.
- Providing support to clients via telephone and email, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
- Building and managing relationships with service providers to ensure the smooth delivery of services to clients.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.
- Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and procedures to enhance the delivery of services to clients.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Plan Administration & Bookkeeper to join our growing team. We are currently seeking to fill 30-40 hours per week (starting at $35/hour), Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to increase. We are a fast-growing company, so we need someone who is willing to grow with us.
The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
