Job summary:
An opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer has become available within the Accounts Payable team for Meriton, based in our Sydney CBD Head Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing and reconciling of accounts for Serviced Apartments, Residential Properties, Commercial Properties and Retail Properties owned by Meriton
- Preparing accounts for payment, including coding and checking against purchase orders
- General account reconciliations to vendor statements
- Responding to internal and external phone and email enquiries
- Creating new and maintain vendors details on system as well as verification as required
- Processing of Strata accounts for properties owned by Meriton
- Prepare and process journals
- Team duties and support as required
Required skills & experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Accounts Payable
- Reconciliations Experience
- High attention to detail is a must
- All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance certificate
- Strong Computer skills
- High level literacy, numeracy and accuracy
- Excellent Communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

- Medius
