PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Responsible for the smooth functioning of the Accounts Payable with timely and accurate processing of invoices, supplier account reconciliation and payments.
This is a three month contract, with the possibility of extension
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Full function Accounts Payable, including assisting month end duties
- Preparing weekly/monthly payment runs
- Supplier Statement reconciliations
- Vendor maintenance
- Processing /validating stock/non-stock invoices
- Responding to internal and external queries
- Managing staff expenses
- Intercompany recharges
- Filing paperwork as required
- Corporate credit card entry & reconciliation
- Store Inventory transfer/ adjustments
- Ad-hoc tasks when required
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial environment in a similar role.
- Keen to learn, enjoy process improvement, getting into the detail, are highly organised, a natural problem-solver and enjoy working in a small team environment
- Analytical skills including the ability to assess problems and propose solutions and then develop the framework to implement them.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using ERP system
- Excel skills
