We are looking for a Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer to join our growing crew!
The Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer is a multi-faceted role which not only includes the undertaking and completion of payroll and the payables function but also to ad-hoc duties as required such as general administration support, reception duties, travel arrangements and data management.

What We Need From You:
Payroll
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies & responding to payroll queries.
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A respect for and solid understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Respond to staff wage and salary queries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes. ensuring services meet professional and industry standards.
- Maintaining and updating current employee’s personal details and information.
Accounts Payable
- Receive and audit invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare purchase orders as required.
- Entering invoices into MYOB.
- Update and maintain vendor database in a timely manner.
- Support the month end process by providing supporting documentation for month end journals.
- Assist with reporting on aged payables.
General administration duties & requirements:
- Undertake general administration duties as directed, including but not limited to reception duties, filing and archiving of correspondence, creating & preparing spreadsheets, word documents, management reports, creating digital & hard copy filing systems & shredding.
- Assist other leadership, management and team members as required.
- Manage routine travel bookings, itineraries and/or make appointments.
- Attend meetings and take meeting notes.
- Data management in accordance with relevant legislation privacy policies. and company policies and procedures.
