About the Role:
Operating within the Finance Department and reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, the Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for providing accurate and effective accounts payable services. Key responsibilities will include liaising with external companies and organisations that have business dealings with Minda, along with other staff in Finance and other Minda stakeholders.
In this Role you will be responsible for:
Responding efficiently and courteously to suppliers and customers regarding queries on their accounts.
Processing of accounts payable for Minda’s various entities and commercial enterprises.
Assisting with internal audits as required.
Supporting new customer account setups.
Reconciling and processing petty cash and expense reimbursement claims.
Contributing to the testing and implementation of new workflow intelligence systems.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable role.
Knowledge of general accounts principles and practices.
Proven experience with customer service and support.
Proficiency in MS applications including intermediate Excel skills.
Highly developed skills in internal and external communications.
Experience within a similar not-for-profit environment (desirable).
