Join a dynamic government agency in Adelaide as an Accounts Payable Officer. You will play a crucial role in our Accounts Payable teams, either in Vendor Maintenance or Review, contributing to efficient financial operations. This temporary position offers an immediate start and a valuable opportunity to enhance your administrative skills.
About the Role: Contribute to SA Government financial systems by managing supplier accounts and ensuring compliance with tax invoice regulations. Work either in Accounts Payable Vendor Maintenance or Review, performing data entry tasks with precision and diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and update SA Gov Supplier accounts accurately
Liaise with suppliers regarding tax invoice compliance
Conduct data entry and maintain high accuracy levels
Manage high volumes of work effectively
We are looking for candidates with:
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry (min 40 wpm)
Strong customer service skills
Strong numerical reasoning skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities
Experience managing high workloads and meeting strict deadlines
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or similar roles preferred
Additional Information: All candidates must possess a valid Police Clearance check, which should be provided upon selection for the role.
