Accounts Payable Officer

Are you a talented Accounts Payable Officer seeking an opportunity to work in a dynamic business that puts “People First” In this role you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the effectiveness of how MACA delivers services to our valued clients. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the accounts payable function of the business along with a range of other general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping duties.

Specific to this role:

• 5 years Accounts Payable experience in a very high-volume environment
• PRONTO experience preferred but not essential
• Data entry, coding and processing.
• Investigation of creditor issues and problem resolution of invoices.
• Assisting in reconciliations (bank, accounts and petty cash).
• Liaising with suppliers, management and other staff members in a friendly and approachable manner
• Document control of accounts documentation
• Investigate and respond to customer account enquiries and refer complex problems to the Accounts Manager.
• Assist in end of month processes and reporting, reconciliations.
