A Snapshot
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will report to the Accounts Payable Team Lead (who is based in our HQ in Australia) and work closely with the rest of the AP & Finance team, making your mark in a number of ways:
· Be accountable for end-to-end AP functions for our Australian businesses.
· Ensuring the Accounts Payable function runs efficiently by providing first line support to internal and external stakeholders.
· Supporting the Australian AP & Finance team including month-end/year-end closing and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
· Be instrumental in helping AirTrunk define leading practice.

Your Day to Day
· End-to-end Accounts Payable functions for our Australian businesses.
· Working alongside other Accounts Payable team members to process the group's invoices.
· Supporting the company CAPEX processes.
· Managing the weekly payment run processes for Accounts Payable and employee expenses, ensuring payments are cleared promptly.
· Responsible for handling vendor maintenance and payment enquiries.
· Assist in compliance with all indirect tax obligations (GST, FBT, Payroll Tax).
· Assist in the improvement of finance processes and controls, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
· Other ad hoc projects and duties as required.
Requirements
· A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
· Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
· Strong attention to detail, highly organised, exceptional attitude.
· Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced AP role within a dynamic environment.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
