KAEFER Integrated Services is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and professional Accounts Payable Supervisor for our head office based in Perth CBD.
Key Responsibilities
• Acting as 2IC of the Accounts Payable team that consists of 6 Accounts Payable officer.
• Direct reporting of 2 Accounts Payable officer.
• Monitor and process payments runs including preparing weekly & monthly payment proposals (Batch, Foreign Currency & BPAY) and processing urgent/ad hoc payments.
• Ensure payments are made in accordance with established terms and schedules.
• Thoroughly checking of bank details using Kaefer’s banking verification tool including maintenance of the database.
• Monitor and review creditor statements and corporate credit card reconciliation.
• Address and resolve AP system or processing issues promptly.
• Assist with monitoring the Accounts inbox, actioning requests & responding queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to AP transactions.
• Performing new vendor set up and changes of bank details procedures.
• Preparation of PTRS report.
• Provide assistance for annual audit for Accounts Payable.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned by the AP Manager & Financial Controller.
• Assisting with continuous process improvement initiatives.
About You
• Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role supervising a large team, however we are also open to consider someone with great AP experience looking to take the next step in their career.
• Relevant degree in field.
• Experience with SAP with a large ERP is highly desirable.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• High attention to detail.
• Strong analytic skills.
• A confident personality with the ability to adapt to growing workplace changes.
