You will be joining our Head Office Finance team in Luscombe, conveniently located halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast and reporting to the Credit Manager. You will have the full support and training of an experienced Finance team to grow your experience.
You will have exposure to the hire fleet, building & construction and manufacturing divisions of ATCO, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience across a range of sectors all in the one role! What You Will Do
As a Credit Officer, you will work within a Receivables Team and contribute to ensuring a strong cash flow is maintained through the collection of payments from customers. You will be responsible for looking after a ledger of customers and provide support to the overall collection from all customers.
More specifically, you will contribute to, and be responsible for:
- Credit and collection functions in the organisation
- General data input
- System reports
- Receivable analysis
- Cash receipts control
- Bank account transaction processing
- Liaising with external customers and coordinating those collection efforts with internal Contracts Administration personnel across our branch network
- Ability to work independently, with a KPI driven target rating

- Experience in an Accounts Receivable or collections role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in reaching out to clients
- Demonstrated strong administrative and computer literacy skills
- Excellent time management with ability to prioritise work
- A positive & team-orientated attitude, able to work in as part of a team
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel
