They are well-positioned for an exciting period of growth. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Credit Officer to join their dynamic team on a full-time permanent basis. About the role: Reporting to the Credit Manager, the main responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintenance of the debtor’s ledger and review of accounts
- Posting and allocation of payments
- Authorisation of credit applications
- Setting up of new customer accounts
- Monitoring of overdue accounts
- Production of month-end reports and assisting with closing
- Resolving customer queries
- Assisting with various ad hoc administration projects and tasks within the scope of the role.
About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Credit focused role is highly advantageous
- Exceptional numeracy skills
- Computer literate and strong with systems
- Exceptional communication skills
- A positive and “can-do attitude.
