Our Richmond-based office has been operating for over 20 years, serving as a central hub for wine distribution and wholesale operations in Victoria. With pride, we represent over 80 wineries from around the globe, offering a diverse selection of fine wines to our esteemed customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our close-knit team, fulfilling a pivotal role in Customer Service and Accounts Receivable. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of service and client satisfaction. We look forward to welcoming the right candidate aboard.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in administration and Accounts Receivable is necessary
- Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills are essential
- Great written and verbal communication skills are important
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are key!
- Bonus if you have knowledge of or experience in the wine industry, but it's not required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist customers and the sales team with phone and email orders
- Carefully review each order to make sure product details, quantities, and customer information are correct
- Work closely with our warehouse team to ensure timely deliveries
- Quickly respond to customer questions about order status, shipping, and product availability
- Allocate payments daily to maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct credit checks and setting up new accounts
- Carry out monthly debt collection for active accounts while maintaining positive relationships
- Full-time position: Monday to Friday
