Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Salon Receptionist to be the face of our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the hair industry, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing exceptional customer service from arrival to departure.
Manage salon appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments via phone, email, or in person.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pricing, and availability.
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, always ensuring cleanliness and professionalism.
Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and issuing receipts.
Assist stylists and technicians with client needs, including escorting clients to service areas and providing refreshments.
Manage inventory of retail products, including restocking shelves and assisting clients with product recommendations.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating client records in salon software.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably within the hairdressing industry.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using salon management software and basic computer skills.
