We have a vacancy for a casual Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team based in Hallam. Reporting to the Regional Accounts Receivable Manager, you will partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to form a key part of our Finance Team.
This is a diverse role that requires a candidate with excellent administrative skills and the ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbally.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Receipting and allocation of payments (EFT, Cheques Creditcards) within the SAP system daily as directed.
- Daily processing of on-line credit applications through Applyeasy and evaluating credit limits of customers.
- Monitoring and maintain the Accounts Receivable email box.
- Assisting the Accounts Receivable Manager with debt recovery, phone collections and reconciliation of outstanding and overdue customer invoices.
- Handling telephone account queries
- Documentation of customer credit claims/short payments and follow up to achieve resolution.
- Liaising with local and interstate teams regarding customer issues for withholding payment
YOUR SKILLS
Ideally, you've already had exposure to an Accounts Receivable role and you're keen to make your mark in a fast-paced, global company. In addition to this, you will have:
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to liaise with colleagues, management, stakeholders, and clients clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated experience with reconciliation of billing and payments.
