The Role

Have you recently graduated and seeking your next adventure as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist? Did you work as a personal trainer or Pilates instructor whilst completing your bachelor’s degree?

We are currently seeking proactive, highly motivated, and personable Accredited Exercise Physiologists to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate as a team to expand our clinic and serve our community. Experience in mat and reformer Pilates is strongly desirable.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including those with chronic diseases, NDIS participants, individuals undergoing injury and surgical rehabilitation, as well as those seeking to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment to patients
• Build and maintain rapport with patients and other health professionals
• Prepare patient reports for DVA, NDIS, Medicare, and Workcover
• Work independently and unsupervised while managing a diverse caseload
• Assess and provide ongoing management for clients
• Communicate and collaborate with other health and medical professionals
• Provide health education and promotion for patients

Requirements

• University degree in Exercise Physiology
• ESSA Accreditation and insurances
• CPR and Current First Aid certificates
• Recent Police Check
• Access to transportation

Desirable Skills

Experience in clinical Pilates or willingness to obtain experience in mat & reformer Pilates

Coaching experience in exercise such as personal training
