Pro Active Health is seeking a proactive, highly motivated, and personable Exercise Physiologist to join our growing team. We are a company that values holistic, patient-centred care while supporting our practitioners with professional development packages.
Pro Active Health is a nationwide allied health business providing evidence-based exercise, physical rehabilitation and chronic disease management in both clinical and gym-based settings. Currently, our amazing and growing team comprises of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Dietitians, State and Area Managers and administration staff. Practitioners deliver a wide scope of practice ranging from individual and group rehabilitation, NDIS, Work Safe Victoria clients, Medicare chronic disease management, rehabilitation of defence force veterans (DVA), private health access, and strength and conditioning for healthy populations.
The Role:
We are looking for a health professional who is truly caring and ready to work as a team to help us service the Mildura community. An Exercise Physiologist who takes great initiative, is thorough in their clinical approach, and comfortable working with a diverse case load is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
- A clinically sound approach to exercise prescription and delivery
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with patients and other health professionals
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Assessing & ongoing monitoring of clients
- Communicating & reporting to other health and medical professionals
- Health education and promotion for patients
- Excellent verbal, written communication and computer skills with the ability to learn scheduling and software programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology
- ESSA Accreditation & professional indemnity insurances
- CPR & Current First Aid certificates
- Police Check
- Working with Children/Blue Card
- Transport
