Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Local Industry Engagement & Partnership Development - Source & secure local placement opportunities; collaborate with lecturers/trainers to ensure compliance of partnerships with ACWA requirements; Negotiate MOUs with partners; Collaborate with the IEM to execute engagement plans and regional strategy
  • Student-centric approach - Proactively manage resolution of agent relationships matters; escalate student-related matters to Senior Lecturer; Collect, analyze and utilise feedback from agencies to enhance the processes of the students; Maintain industry relationships to assess the quality & effectiveness of student education.
  • Compliance - Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that the Student Handbook is always up-to-date and compliant; Ensure all placement vacancies are vetted by the Senior Lecturer

About you

  • Proven successful experience in Business Development and/or stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in building industry partnerships.
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple demands.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of community services or related sectors and Placement processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilising relevant technology and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to work as part of a team
