Sheldon & Hammond creates, builds and manages a large portfolio of premium kitchenware and outdoor adventure brands including Scanpan, Global Knives, OXO, Victorinox & Brabantia.
As E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the online operations of our company. Your primary focus will be to drive the growth of our e-commerce platform, across multiple branded websites, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience for customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage online marketing campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to enhance the overall performance of the e-commerce business.
Responsibilities:
1. E-Commerce Strategy:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business goals.
• Identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends to enhance the online presence.
2. Website Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website.
• Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.
• Collaborate with web developer/designer to implement improvements.
3. Product Management:
• Manage product listings, descriptions, and images on the e-commerce platform.
• Monitor and update inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocks.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to introduce new products and remove discontinued items.
4. Marketing and Promotions:
• Plan and execute online marketing campaigns.
• Oversee and enhance SEM and SEO strategies, including optimising paid Google Ads and staying updated with Google's algorithm developments.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize product listings and create compelling content.
• Utilize email marketing and social media channels to drive traffic and sales.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce, such as conversion rates, traffic, and sales.
• Generate regular reports and provide insights to improve performance.
• Use data to make informed decisions and identify areas for optimization.
6. Customer Experience:
• Ensure a positive and seamless customer experience from browsing to checkout.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to the e-commerce platform.
• Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
7. Collaboration:
• Work closely with IT, marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive and efficient e-commerce operations.
• Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and agencies as needed.
8. Compliance and Security:
• Stay informed about e-commerce regulations and ensure compliance.
• Implement security measures to protect customer information and transactions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with Shopify, content management systems, and payment gateways.
• Strong project management skills and team leadership experience.
