The Director of Schools, Diocese of Wollongong, invites expressions of interest from suitably experienced leaders of education for the Acting Assistant Principal position at St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park. This is a temporary acting position for the duration of Term 2, 2024, replacing a period of leave by the roll holder.
St Francis Catholic College employs a structure of three Assistant Principals and this Acting Assistant Principal position leads the Religious Education, Identity and Mission function across the whole school which covers Kindergarten to Year 12.

A well-articulated Catholic pedagogy and successful experience in creating an effective Religious Education learning environment for staff and students
Acts strategically to drive school improvement initiatives aligned to the school's vision and strategic plan.
Ensures that school processes meet system, NESA and legislative requirements.
Develops and maintains positive partnerships with students, families and carers, the local church and the wider school community.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-graduate study in a relevant discipline.
Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School in accordance with the 'Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong' policy (or a commitment to acquiring within a 5 year period).
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
