We are Pilbara Environmental Services, a fully incorporated joint venture bringing together Kingkira Group, an established and respected traditional owner business, and Australia's largest national waste management, environmental and industrial services provider Cleanaway Ltd.
Pilbara Environment Services (PES) is all about the land. A recognized leader in regional and remote heavy industrial cleaning, waste management and environmental support services in the Pilbara region. PES manages all aspects of the environment to ensure it remains sustainable for future generations. We specialize in industrial services and waste management projects in the mining, manufacturing, oil and gas sectors. Our services include heavy industrial cleaning and support services, bin hire and design, recycling, collection and transport of all types of waste and dangerous goods.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our growing team to support our new contract.
Your new role:
The Contract Manager is responsible for maximising profit and profit growth from contracts by effectively and efficiently employing available capital and human resources to achieve agreed targets. In addition to having a genuine passion for safety, you will also bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Deliver high levels of customer service satisfaction and asset optimisation through effective people management
- Provide overall operational management of the contracts including revenue achievement, direct costs and overheads control, asset management, profit attainment, sales growth, and HSEQ compliance
- Develop new business opportunities and identify potential areas of growth
- Assist with the monitoring and management of capital budgets and forecasts of contracts resulting in financial performance that demonstrates achievement of continuous improvement
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Moderate management experience in the waste or transport industries
- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline or equivalent formal studies in management preferred
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and expectation management skills
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Ability to handle high level negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong report writing skills and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programmes
- Previous experience in blue-collar, high-risk industry environments desirable
