As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant at Acumen Health, you will call on your clinical reasoning skills and clinical expertise to support ADF personnel who have suffered from injury, illness, or trauma.
Working on base at the Gaza Ridge Barracks, this is unlike any other Rehabilitation Consultant role. This is a unique opportunity to work with the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel, where you will work collaboratively with your clients & their treaters, to get them fully fit and military ready to defend and protect Australia. A truly rewarding experience to work with such a highly motivated client group!
- Taking a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.

What will make you successful:
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Nursing or Osteopathy
- Strong clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
