Office  Admin Support - Accountants Office Sutherland Shire

Accountants office in the Sutherland Shire is looking for an experienced Office  Admin Support person to join our small friendly team.

The preferred applicant will  live in the Sutherland Shire or St George area have a good understanding of office procedures, possess the necessary skills needed to ensure this busy office runs smoothly, be able to work unsupervised and be flexible.

Experience in bookkeeping (Xero/Excel) a plus but NOT essential. (Please note if you do not have any form of bookkeeping experience your application will not be disadvantaged).

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Attending to, sorting and distributing emails received.
• Ensuring all emails with client data are sent in a timely fashion
• Lodging tax returns with the ATO
• Monitoring tax returns lodged and following up late returns.
• Attending to client refunds
• Liaising with clients
• Ensuring filing is up to date
• Liaising with ATO and other authorities on behalf of clients
• Minor bookkeeping tasks (XERO, EXCEL) if you have experience.
• Be open to learning new procedures and software packages.
