The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Admin Operations Support Specialist to join our dynamic team overseeing our back of house operations and POS systems on a Full-Time basis in our Brisbane City office. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with regulations, providing administrative support across departments, and facilitating communication between venue management and our Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Admin Operations Support Specialist, your key responsibilities include:
- Oversee all implementation and management of point of sales (POS) systems and ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Manage merchandise processes including inventory tracking and reconciliation
- Collaborate with the COO to develop and implement strategic plans for operations
- Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability
- Provide administrative and troubleshooting support to all venues
- Plan and develop operational policies and procedures across venues
- Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety regulations through regular audits
- Prepare and submit applications for council permits and licences
- Keep all documentation up to date and filled
- Serve as a primary point of communication with the COO and CEO
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar position (hospitality experience advantageous)
- Experience in venue and operations management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have experience with restaurant POS systems and inventory management software (essential)
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
