Learning Online is a new age education provider specialising in short online courses carefully crafted to give our students the skills to succeed in work and business. Founded in 2019, we quickly became one of the leading online course providers within Australia and New Zealand. Our rapid growth and recent expansion overseas has created a number of job opportunities for growth within our Operations team!
Job Summary: (About You and Your New Role)
We've grown quickly, fostered an incredible working culture across the business, created products that transform our students lives and as a result, our team has naturally grown in responsibility and breadth. Now its time we bring someone like youself on board to document and improve how we go about doing all of this. You'll be the 5th addition to the team of 4 and each person has different specialisations. Our operations manager believes in passionate career growth, so you know she'll be there to support you along the journey. There are so many different areas that we offer progression in, including Logistics, Finance, HR, General Operations. You'll bring your meticulous eye for detail, your obsession with best practice and efficiency creation and of course, your problem solving brain to a place you'll be set up for success every day. We’re looking for someone who is motivated to grow and further themselves within the division!

Key Responsibilities: (your new responsibilities)
- Assist the Head of Operations:Collaborate with the Head of Operations in planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day operational activities.
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and assist in analyzing operational data to identify areas for improvement. Process documentation – As this is a fairly new role, a big focus will be a project centred around documenting all the processes within the operations team.
- Financial & Payroll: Handling both accounts payable and receivable.
- CRM Management: Understanding and utilising Salesforce in order to manage our customer base.
- Human Resources Admin: Overseeing the Onboarding & Offboarding of new staff and ensuring all relevant documentation is in order.
- Process Improvement:We believe constant improvement and striving for perfection will be the foundation of our long-term success so you'll be looking at our current processes with an improvement mindset always. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Coordination:Act as a liaison between various departments to facilitate communication and ensure that operational tasks are completed on time and in accordance with company policies. Use your relationship building mastery and work with your new network of teamates to ensure we are helping them to the best of our ability always.
- Supply Chain Management:Assist in managing inventory levels, procurement, and logistics to meet customer demands and minimize delays.
- Quality Control:Monitor and ensure the quality of products or services delivered, and implement quality control measures as needed.
- Vendor Management:Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Compliance:Ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Training and Development:Support the training and onboarding of new team members in operational procedures.(Are they training people???)
- Problem Solving:Address operational issues as they arise, troubleshoot challenges, and work with the Head of Operations to develop solutions.
Qualifications:
A diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational support role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (if applicable) Don't really need this
