Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a talented administration professional to join their busy team for an 18-month temporary assignment.
About the role:
The primary purpose of the role is to provide procedural, clerical, administrative support and operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities.
- Managing and resolving participant matters by actioning planning tasks.
- Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online support.
- Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
- Logging data and generating reports as required.
- Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate government or community services.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in administration and customer service
- Intermediate to advanced IT skills and competent in Microsoft Outlook.
- Great eye for detail and have a high level of accuracy in your work.
- Great team player who can work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great initiative to get tasks done with autonomy and strong problem solving skills
- Immediate start pending Federal Police Check
- 18-month Temporary Assignment

- $37.36 per hour + super
