Allume Electrical is a small electrical company specialising in various aspects of the electrical trade, including new home installations, CCTV, and EV car charging. With 5 years of experience, our team of 6 is led by owners Jake and Tony, who are the head electricians. Based in Mulgrave, we primarily serve the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our commitment to excellent communication and integrity sets us apart, as we strive to exceed customer expectations.
The role:
We are seeking a versatile and organised individual to join our team as a front of house Administrative Assistant. This role is pivotal in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Trade business. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of tasks, including answering calls, communicating with clients, basic accounting and accounts reconcile, scheduling work and supporting business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner.
- Client communication including all pre job and post job after care.
- Schedule appointments and allocate resources effectively.
- Basic accounts reconciling and overdue account follow ups.
- Have the ability to efficiently learn how to navigate all programs used by Allume Electrical including Asana, Xero and ServiceM8.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a trade or similar industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Positive can-do attitude and proactive approach to improving efficiencies within role.
Skills that are not required but are highly desirable:
- Proficient in navigating social media platforms such as Instagram.
- Experience/ Interest in social media management and content creation.
- Capable of creating content for client comms & marketing via mail chimp.
Benefits and proposed conditions
- Remuneration $25-$35 per hour depending on experience and skillset.
- Part time/ casual - 3 days per week with the option for extra hours.
- Potential for flexible working arrangements/ working from home.
